We are HUGE football fans in our house! Needless to say, we were quite disappointed when our Niners didn’t make the cut for the 2014 Super Bowl! But don’t fret, we will still watch the game on February 2nd- and of course, make lots of yummy foods for the day! I thought I would round up a few recipes that would be amazing for game day. The food and commercials are always the best part of the day 😉
Pull out some chips, fried pickles, and chicken wings- here is a great list of dips that I recommend you to check out!
Not something that goes with chips, per se, but this cookie dough dip is fabulous!
It is a perfect chaser for these spicy food recipes that I will be bringing your way! Especially for these Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls!
If you’re more into the traditional wings– try these out!
Here is the list of great DIPS that you can start the party with!
Spicy Sausage and Beer Cheese Dip
Be sure to check back in a few days- I will be bringing Part Two of Super Bowl Foods- The delicious savory kinds, and a few sweets to end the day with! There will also be a Part Three- crafts to spruce up the party area and some fun games!

First off let me say, I found your blog sometime ago and drool over everything you make LOL. There are some I haven't had a chance to make yet..but I will. I have a quick ?? I am hosting a bridal shower, doing shabby chic. I am looking for food that is not the normal same old that you find at showers. veggie platter with dip, chips, potato salad..blah blah blah... I have been trolling through your site looking for food..any sort really...appetizers, main, sides...etc...this will be a summer shower so I want to avoid "hot" food, not spicey, just food that has to be served hot. If you have some time, put it in back of your brain somewhere and maybe drop me a note with some of your selections that would be suited. I have been spending a lot of time coordinating and preparing for this. I am going to rent a place to go...I don't want it at a home...I really want this to be over the top special. I know I have already grabbed a few items from you as hmmm this looks interesting. LOL I have a list of foods I am going to be trying..as in let's make it and try it!! I have noticed whenever you select a group of food for something none of it seems like the same old thing you are going to find at parties like this and I love it!!! Keep up the great work and wished I lived near you.. We would be the best of friends and I would promise to taste test everything for you! Hope your warm in this nasty winter we seem to be having! Thanks bunches Jackie P
