My daughter pulled her 6 year old cousin’s name in the “Official Cousin Handmade Gift Exchange”. She knew immediately that she was doing something with superheroes.
We found this wooden, blue bin (that’s pulling a disappearing-before-photo act right now), at a thrift store for 60 cents.
We grabbed some old comic books and she picked all the ones she wanted and cut them out. Then she started helping me Mod Podge them all on. We did about 4 layers of Mod Podge over 2 weeks and then grabbed some clear Contact paper and covered the entire thing, inside and out, with contact paper. Just an extra little step because it is little boys we’re talking about.
Our original intent was to fill it with art supplies, but that never happened. One of those downfalls of waiting until the last minute.
