For years, I spent so much time shopping for the perfect Christmas gifts for family and friends. Then, after all that planning and shopping… I’d spend absolutely zero time thinking about the gift wrapping.
Like no effort into the presentation at all! I’d grab whatever wrapping paper was left over from the previous years, add a shiny gift tag to quick jot down some names, and call it a day!
But then something happened… I started receiving gifts from others that were wrapped beautifully! Gifts wrapped with such thought, that you didn’t even want to open it!
And I realized that presentation does matter! And the gifts look especially nice then when wrapped ahead of time and used as decoration under the tree.
It’s also very simple and inexpensive to add some festive and personalized touches!
This year, I’m loving the plain, brown kraft paper look. It’s a blank slate, but still a warm, earthy color that I seem to gravitate towards in winter. Some baker’s twine, fresh greens and a sparkly clothespin help tie it all together.
But I took it a step further, because I’m addicted to my ZINK hAppy printer and this is the fastest and easiest way to personalize anything… even gifts!
I found some retro Christmas graphics over at The Graphics Fairy site that I quick saved on my phone. From there, all I had to do was open my ZINK app, select the correct image, resize it if I chose and then hit print!
So fast, so simple and once it printed out… I just peeled off the backing and stuck it to the gift.
Look how cute those sledding foxes are!
I even made a little photostrip to really personalize the one gift!
You’ll be personalizing everything soon!
Here’s a quick video on some other ways to use your ZINK:
Using our ZINK hAppy printer, we’ve made an Instagram wreath for my daughter’s room
and a Thankful banner for the Thanksgiving season!
and, of course, those on your gift list will be thrilled with their beautiful packages now that you can create your own personalized gift wrapping + giveaway!
