Cheap & Easy Wood Sign!

Sharing is caring!

I went to a very informal, immediate family-only wedding over the weekend.   I wanted to have something small and meaningful to give them, so I found a wooden board in my craft stash that I quick painted green.  The morning of the wedding I typed up a little quote on my Cricut and cut it out in black vinyl.

I wanted the green to look washed on instead of just a solid color.  Since I had everything in my stash already, this was completely free!

And, no, me doing this the morning of the wedding had nothing to do with the fact that we got there with only 4 minutes to spare.  Phew!!

That's amazing! I'm inspired to make a sign myself now. I can look into this myself, but if you can answer easily feel free to...can you buy the vinyl at craft stores? Is there a special cricut blade needed? I've only used my cricut for scrapbooking, so paper only.

There are so many good spots throughout our home where a good quote would be perfect...and I've pinned so many quotes I love that this may provide the perfect avenue to put one or more in our house!

This is such a beautiful sign...looks like something my husband and I would purchase from a store! I love it. Thanks for sharing :o)
