Cents Valentine

Sharing is caring!

Shortly after Christmas, I was grocery shopping and found bags of these chocolate
gold coins on clearance for 10 cents each!  I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with
them, but at the very least I figured I could save them for St. Patrick’s Day.  I did find some on Amazon for you guys and they aren’t too bad of a price either, if you want to snag some quick!

So I bought 46 bags of them.  You know, because 2 kids need 46 bags of chocolate
gold coins for St. Patrick’s Day.  Didn’t you all know that??

Then the other week, I was trying to figure out what to do for Valentine’s, and I
remembered I had these gold coins.  And, it just so happens that my daughter’s class
was working on a money unit at the time, so I thought these would fit in nicely.

I’ve since been informed that they’ve completed the money unit and are now working
on telling time, so we need to redo all our Valentine’s.  She’s a regular riot. : )

What a cute idea. That is exactly what I would to. 10c for a bag of chocolate coins is way too good to pass up!

Just because the class is on time, doesn't mean these don't still make great Valentines! Call it review and practice. LOL
