My daughter and I made these for her class a couple years ago and for some reason haven’t made them again since! Not sure why because they were a huge hit and pretty easy!
Birdseed Valentines:
3/4 c. bird seed
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. water
Mix and pack tightly into a greased cookie cutter placed on greased foil. Put a straw in for the ribbon hole and bake at 170 for about an hour.
* If you find it’s not sticking together very well and is too crumbly, you can add honey until it sticks together. Or make a rue out of flour and water mixed together and then add to birdseed mixture- it will act as glue to hold them together better.
And then we packaged them all up and my little cutie got to take them in!
