An old college friend of mine asked if I would make some art display boards for her 2 kids, so I went straight to my trusty supply (that never seems to get smaller) of old cabinet doors! These are the same doors I’ve used to create a Repurposed Cabinet Door Holiday Wreath and Wall Art and a Breakfast in Bed Tray.
I grabbed two of these that are the same size, took off the handles and filled in the holes with wood putty.
After it dried and I had it all sanded smooth, I spray painted both of the doors. She requested jewel colors to go with her decorating style, so I went with a royal blue and purple. My husband is in love with this blue and commented every day on how he wanted one piece in each room of our house painted this color!
I used my Cricut to cut letters out of white vinyl and then I glued on the clothespins. I added a strip of zebra print duct tape onto the front of the clothespins to jazz them up a bit!
They’re all ready to show-off!!
