We all love finger foods when it comes to football games and parties. I decided to go out of the box a little and come up with a great round up of Salsas!
Who knew there were SO MANY different kinds!? You can try one, you can try two, heck, try them all! Look through em- pick a few favorites based on the ingredients and create your salsas! With so many flavor profiles, you’re bound to find a favorite. There are fruit salsas, veggie salsas, green ones, and regular tomato salsas. There are even CopyCat Salsas from several restaurants too.
You don’t have to eat salsa with plain ole’ corn chips- you can spread them on meats, fish, and chicken. They would be great on a salad, in tacos, and nachos!
Here is one of my favorites: Avocado Corn Salsa
Let’s start with a variety of Tomatillo based salsas!
Tomatillo Salsa with Roasted Green Chiles
The kind of salsa you find in restaurants are usually tomato based- here are some fantastic recipes for some.
Roasted Poblano Salsa
Homemade Salsa using Canned Tomatoes
Fire Roasted Salsa off the Grill
Got a sweet tooth? Combine the sweet with the heat! Some of these would be great with Fish or Chicken too!
Strawberry Salsa {Cantina Style}
Pineapple Salsa
Fresh Peach, Mango, Nectarine Salsa
Low Sugar Fresh Cranberry Salsa
Love a little bit of Corn in your salsa? Check these out! Think how well these would go on a burger!
Charred Corn and Pepper Salsa, Pico De Gallo, and Guacamole
Roasted Corn Black Bean Mango Salsa
CopyCat Recipes! Do you love a certain restaurant’s salsa? See if we have included your favorite!
Saltgrass Steakhouse Boiled Shrimp and Avocado Salsa
Chipotle Mexican Grill Jalapeno and Corn Salsa
How about something a little different? Beans, avocado, feta cheese? Even a recipe for a great Pico De Gallo!
Avocado Salsa
Cross Cultural Salsa (this one is the one with the feta, yum!)
Whichever route you go for the base of your salsa, you won’t be disappointed. I am off to try some of these for our next football get together! You can be sure that there’ll be several on the buffet to try out! Hope the team you’re rooting for wins 🙂
